Speedback GT, finished in ‘On Mercury’

SILVERSTONE, UNITED KINGDOM, (21 JULY 2019): The latest Speedback GT to leave Silverstone is configured in a bespoke ‘On Mercury’ exterior finish and which, when caught by the light, accentuates Speedback GT’s classic curvature. Bright chrome bumperettes and polished stainless steel classic 19″ wire wheels complete this timeless specification. 

Black seat belts fasten you into the cockpit, priming you for taking command of the power enhanced, five litre, supercharged V8 engine, which delivers 601 brake horsepower. Bright chrome and light satin chrome have been used for the center console and interior controls, which cast natural light throughout the cabin, drawing your eye to the ‘On Mercury’ colour matched door and dash veneer panels.

This particular configuration incorporates additional stowage compartments in the rear of the cabin, making Speedback GT the perfect Grand Tourer.  Finished in a deep autumnal brown leather hide with a contrast stitch, the stowage compartments are topped with chrome strakes for further protection, bouncing light throughout the cabin.

No two Speedback GTs are the same, with the exception of the David Brown Automotive signature picnic seat, which merges traditional craftsmanship with innovative 21st century design and engineering.
