David Brown Automotive gets set to launch first showroom in Germany  

Coventry, England (31st May 2016): David Brown Automotive will launch its first non-UK-based showroom in Germany next month following its initial customer deliveries and European tour of Speedback GT.

The showroom’s launch, set to take place on Wednesday 8th June will see a production-standard Speedback GTs displayed alongside the original prototype to an audience of customers, stakeholders and media.

Located within Classic Remise in Düsseldorf, a centre of excellence for vintage and classic cars which houses car storage, car servicing and maintenance, alongside premium classic car and select low-volume modern car dealerships; the David Brown Automotive showroom will offer its growing customer base leading sales support and customer care. David Brown Automotive’s Brand Representative for the region, Marcus Keller, also leads German company COMCO’s classic car leasing division and possesses not only a tremendous enthusiasm for beautiful automobiles, but also a wealth of classic and high-end contemporary car knowledge.

David Brown Automotive has worked with Classic Remise on many joint ventures, including displaying Speedback GT on its stand at Techno Classica Essen in 2015 and 2016 and showcasing the car’s prototype at its showroom location in Düsseldorf. The marque’s showroom opening further enhances this partnership and positive working relationship with Classic Remise.

Limited media passes are available for the 8th June showroom launch in Düsseldorf, Germany. The media-only launch preview starts from 14:00 UTC with the press briefing with David Brown, company founder and CEO and Marcus Keller, David Brown Automotive’s Brand Representative for Germany from 14:30.

Priced at £495,000 exclusive of taxes, Speedback GT promises exceptional performance and handling, hosting a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged unit with 510bhp and 461lb ft, hitting 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 155mph
