With a name on the global stage, David Brown Automotive is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and committed Marketing & Communications Coordinator. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you must have a great eye for detail, strong work ethic and a passion for all things luxury to support the marketing and sales team on a national and international level.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Marketing, Events & PR Communications

  • Maintain brand consistency through all communication channels, strictly following brand guidelines
  • Effectively perform market research into high-end car market, luxury lifestyle market, events and suppliers
  • Devise social media campaigns and run company’s social media platforms
  • Plan, organise and run both small and large-scale events
  • Perform analysis into marketing campaigns and activities
  • Support with marketing administration
  • Support the timely delivery of each marketing campaign
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Understand the surrounding market environment, including competitor activity
  • Assistance in organising and running customer build facility tours
  • Work seamlessly with all members of the marketing, sales and design teams
  • Work well on own initiative but also be a fully committed team player
  • Support creating and arranging production of digital and printed marketing collateral
  • Support press activities through press release creation, press drives and creation/updates of press material
  • Work together with marketing team to support social media content in line with social media strategy
  • Effectively and efficiently manage digital marketing campaigns

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A passion for design and luxury automobiles
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Educated to degree level
  • You must thrive in a fast-paced environment with an ability to run several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple ongoing tasks
  • Willingness to regularly work outside of normal office hours and travel nationally and internationally
  • Excellent written communication and proof-reading skills in English language essential
  • A great eye for detail
  • Impeccable presentation and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team or independently
  • Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to tasks
  • Ability to challenge others to deliver results
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise work under pressure and complete within deadlines
  • Good relationship management with suppliers, colleagues, press and customers
  • Experience working with confidential projects
  • Organised approach to documenting and maintaining accurate records
  • Fully computer literate, including experience of working with Microsoft suite of software
  • Willingness to travel, both nationally and internationally
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Must have authorisation to work and remain in the UK

 

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Existing knowledge of the process of the production of handbuilt cars
  • An existing knowledge of both the classic and luxury car markets
  • Experience with InDesign and Photoshop packages advantageous
  • Experience with Salesforce advantageous
  • Experience with website CMS, social media platforms and graphic design
  • Fluency in foreign languages advantageous
  • Experience of working with other cultures
