ROLE DESCRIPTION

Working as a key member of the Engineering and Leadership Team to ensure that the engineering activities are delivered on time and in a safe and recorded manner. This role assists management and production teams across current and future projects whilst supporting engineering aftersales queries. The role is based at our build facility and headquarters in Silverstone.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experienced rounded engineer with whole vehicle knowledge capable of working on multiple projects, on time, to cost and to quality
  • Working with niche, classic, premium quality vehicles
  • Communication with aftersales partners and customers, ownership of aftersales issues, creation, and implementation of resolution plan
  • Hosting and attending meetings as required
  • Production of workshop jobs sheets for engineering, service and aftersales activities
  • Development and issue resolution on current engineering projects
  • Experience of vehicle homologation processes both domestic and international
  • CAD modelling and packaging skills, preferably CATIA. A good understanding of manufacturing methods, processes and tolerance stacking
  • BOM creation and maintenance
  • Effectively manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
  • A great eye for detail and an understanding of the premium quality of David Brown Automotive models
  • Strong supplier management skills
  • Ability to challenge others to deliver results
  • Ability to work with sales, marketing and design to produce results

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position
